On our final day in Taiwan, we tried to have an encore of the two types of cuisines that we’ve enjoyed during our trip: dumplings and Peking duck.
After a day full of shopping at SOGO Shopping Mall, we got together with the family to have supper at The Top, a mountaintop restaurant with a stunning panoramic view of Taipei.
The next day, we spent most of our day at the Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village. This village, also in the Yuchi Township, is a combined amusement park and heritage centre. It also contains the tallest free-fall ride and largest European gardens in the entire country!
For the next days, we went near the central part of Taiwan to visit Sun Moon Lake, a lake in the Yuchi Township, Nantou County of Taiwan. The Sun Moon Lake is the largest body of water in Taiwan, and it home to the Thao tribe of Taiwan.
On Day 6, the CryoDragon team visited the National Palace Museum of Taiwan as well as The Grand Hotel.
One of the happiest moments of the trip was getting to watch Avengers 4: Endgame a few days earlier than everyone else in Canada!
To wrap up Day 4 of our Taiwan Trip, CryoDragon went up a mountain and back down to see street markets and scenic views.
To start off Day 4 of our trip, we visited the volcanic mountain of Yangmingshan National Park, and then headed to Yehliu Geopark to visit the famous Queen’s Head of Taiwan!
On Day 3 of our trip to Taipei, Taiwan, we visited the tallest green building in the worl: Taipei 101!
That evening, we enjoyed a Korean BBQ dinner with friends and family, and went on to explore a local night market. But, not before capturing an evening view of Taipei 101 (Taipei’s most famous skyscraper)!
