At CryoDragon, we do not provide printing services. Rather, we provide you with the digital assets to take to your preferred print provider, who can then use the digital assets to put it into production.
We are very transparent with our prices and do not have any “hidden costs”.
At the beginning of each project, we meet with our clients to discuss the scope of the project, the level of detail required in the artwork to be done, and provide a quote based on an expected number of hours to complete the project. We are usually quite accurate in our quoting process, and are happy to say that we have never had to re-assess our initial costs for a service.
Our clients have always paid what was agreed upon in the initial quote, and it is only when clients add on additional revisions and side projects that we have had to add an Addendum to the contract. In such cases, additional work will require an agreement between all parties at a new cost.
Yes, we do! We provide branded templates for Microsoft Office suite, specifically for Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint. Instead of generating one finalized PDF or presentation file for you to use for a project, we can generate a template that you can keep and use for all future projects and have your staff maintain a high standard of brand identity with all corporate documentation.
The cost for a template will be higher than the cost for a one-time project. Most templates are created with accessibility standards in mind, and require a lot more work as default fonts, colours, graphics and navigational structures have to be set up. Expect the cost to go up by a factor of 1.5x or 2x due to the extra effort required to generate the template.
The most important input is always the client’s input. We put in a lot of effort with our design brief at the beginning of the project so that we can understand your requirements, your target audience, and the purpose of your design. Without those details, we would not be able to do our best, and we would not be able to finish your project on time.
The easiest way to answer this is by saying our clients own their artwork after full payment. If you have not paid by the end of the project, you will not get your artwork. That means full payment is required before we transfer finalized files and copyright of the artwork over to you.
To keep things simple, we usually require an upfront payment for all small projects and designs. Exceptions can be made for rush jobs, but payment must be obtained prior to sending files over. For more advanced projects and complex artwork, we usually recommend a 50/50 payment plan, with 50% upfront after the design brief, and 50% upon completion and delivery.
We will be providing vector files and raster files upon completion of the project. For vector files, we usually provide .AI, .EPS, .PDF files while for raster files, we provide .JPG, .PNG files of multiple sizes.
Of course, these are mainly marketing collaterals that you can use online or send to a printer, so a vector PDF would suffice in most cases. Alternative formats are avalable upon request.
Absolutely! The artwork we design for you will always remain your property as long as you have paid us for it and the project is complet.
