CryoDragon’s Different Web Hosting & Maintenance Packages
CryoDragon’s Kitchener-Waterloo web hosting and maintenance packages have been carefully created to offer the best solutions for different types of individuals and businesses. Although every website is unique and requires a differing amount of resources, the basics are still the same. As a result, we have created a base package called “Hatchling” that will cover the requirement of most CMS websites we build on a regular basis, complete with an SSL certificate and custom server emails. Anything required past these premium standards will require a custom quote.
Fun Facts: Our hosting and maintenance packages are named after the evolution of our dragon! All dragons start off as babies, or hatchlings. The simplest form of a dragon is a wyrm, a limbless and wingless dragon that looks like a serpent, much like our CryoDragon logo. The next level is wyvern, which resembles a 2-legged, winged type of dragon. Finally, we reach our fully-formed dragon which four limbs and two wings.

Template-Based Websites: Frozen Package
WordPress themes can be purchased or custom-built. When you download or purchase a WordPress theme with pre-built templates and layouts, there will be limitations to how much customization is possible because these assets are very rigid. As web designers and developers, we do work with pre-built WordPress templates in our Frozen package, and we charge for the time that it takes to discover and understand the configuration fo the theme and its templates so that the website can be customized to where you want it to be.
By hiring professional web designers, we can ensure your website is built correctly using the theme. Another advantage is that we can employ shortcodes and pre-designed or pre-coded elements to speed up the process of website creation, which is handy when it comes to those who want a simple website with a short turnaround time. This means this is our lowest-priced package.
Completely Custom WordPress Theme with Custom Features: Cryo Package
Let’s move to the other end of the spectrum where we are looking at a completely custom WordPress theme. In such projects, the team at CryoDragon would sketch our wireframes and design mockups for approval prior to touching the core build of the website. Every part of the website will be a unique design, and we will be creating our own templates for your business from scratch so that they can be re-used easily when you want to create more pages down the road.
With a custom website, you open your door to endless possibilities because we then have full control over the theme and how the website is built, allowing for easier integrations of third-party applications and custom apps should they be necessary. This is only offered in our Cryo package, which gives you the best of what we have to offer. Consequently, this is our highest-priced package.
Custom-Themed Websites from Framework: Arctic Package
Now, what if you want the best of both worlds: the customization from the Cryo package, but the lower budget from the Frozen package? We created the Arctic package for exactly this purpose.
If you choose to go with the Arctic package, you will be getting a premium theme framework that essentially gives us a fairly blank slate to work with when it comes to web design. In such a website, we do a fully custom design, but instead of using pre-built templates, we use a mixture of custom-coded or pre-built elements (or widgets) to help speed up the process of creating the website. This means that you will get a completely custom website, with any layout you want, but with the use of customized elements that are now free from the limitations of the rigidity of a pre-built template.
At the end of the day, we quote our projects based on time, so the Arctic package is essentially a faster way for us to build a custom website, which helps us lower the cost of the project.

Our pricing structure varies depending on the type of project we take on. For the majority of our website design and graphic design services, we charge an hourly rate of $80/hour + HST because every project is unique. The three packages presented on this page do not include E-Commerce. An E-Commerce online store requires additional work related to E-Commerce platform integration and setup, storefront setup and design, shopping cart and checkout options and payment gateways, and client logins. Absolutely! During the design and development phase of the project, CryoDragon Inc. will own the copyright to all design components. When the website is launched and the final payment received, the ownership and copyright of the website will be passed on to our clients.

For our initial consultation, it is crucial that we understand what kind of a website you are looking for. What kind of features would you like, and how many pages would you want on the website. It will help us determine the site structure and start planning a layout for your website.
As the project progresses, we would start seeking content for the website, to be provided by you. We can then partition and integrate your content into the website so that it is easy to navigate for your site’s visitors.
Yes, we can! But, it will be charged at our hourly rate of $80 + HST. For all website design projects, we do already include basic checks for spelling and grammar so that you have an extra layer of protection when it comes time to post content on the website.
Each of our clients will have a lot of input with the website design, especially for the custom sites. For every website that we build, we have a demo site that is placed on our staging servers that you can monitor and provide feedback on it whenever we update the site. Depending on the web design package you get, the number of revisions will vary, with custom design packages allowing for more rounds of revisions.
